????The Visual Reality (VR)/ Augment Reality (AR) tech and application national engineering lab was unveiled in Qingdao on April 28. This is the only VR/AR tech and application national engineering lab in Internet+ field in China.

????The Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (BUAA) as the construction main body establishes the lab jointly with enterprises and scientific research institutes in BUAA Qingdao Research Institute. The lab aims to make breakthroughs in key technologies of VR/AR, to provide technological support and special service to needed industries with wholly self-owned intellectual property rights. With the help of the lab, Qingdao is hoped to take a high point of visual reality field and to be pioneer of joint innovation by enterprises, universities, and scientific research institutes.
