With recently improved sanitary facilities and
supervision Qingdao is expected to become cleaner.
More garbage collection facilities and toilets have been built. Hundreds of
trashcans and energy saving toilets have been installed along coastal areas.
With better garbage cans introduced to major roads, scenic spots and
residential areas and the completion of a garbage processing plant on Taiyuan
Road, over 5000 sanitary facilities and 481 litter-gathering vehicles will
